The Royal Highland Centre has parking for 15,000 vehicles across three car parks. On the day of your event, signage will direct you to the best car park. Parking is contactless card payment only at a cost of £10 per vehicle

The Advice Centre 

These free 15-minute sessions are your chance to get personalised, impartial advice. Whether you'd like to speak to someone from the Home Energy Academy, The Planning Clinic, Ask the Expert, Ask the Build or Ask the Architect - our experts will tailor their advice to your project. Remember to get to the show early if you'd like to book an appointment, as they do go fast! 
 


 

Home Energy Hour

Designed to help you improve the efficiency of your home, the Home Energy Academy will help you to understand how you can make the most of the energy in your home, save money on your bills and reduce your carbon footprint with our free advice at our very own Advice Centre.

Also at the Show, Home Energy Hour comes to our Theatres, with talks designed to inform you of the latest trends and advancements in home energy and help you to make your home leaner and greener.


 

How to get there by...

The Royal Highland Centre is located next to Edinburgh Airport, within minutes of the M8 and M9, and within easy reach of the city centre. The RHC sits off Glasgow Road (A8) between Newbridge roundabout and the A8/airport roundabout, one of the main routes to the city. Access to the Royal Highland Centre is from A8/Airport roundabout on to Eastfield Road. From there, signposts provide directions to the venue along Fairview Road onto Ingliston Road.

The Royal Highland Centre is situated adjacent to Edinburgh Airport.

Over 180 flights connect Edinburgh to the rest of the UK and Europe each day and the Royal Highland Centre is just a ten-minute walk from the airport travelling along Fairview Road.

Edinburgh Gateway Station by Gogar/The Gyle is the nearest train station to the Royal Highland Centre.  Haymarket Station and Waverley Station provide excellent links across the UK.  For more information contact National Rail click here.

Lothian Buses

From Edinburgh, Lothian Buses run regular services 20 & 63. For some large events such as the Royal HIghland Show or Edinburgh Summer Sessions, Lothian bussses operate a special 98 service from the city centre. All buses run regularly and drop-off close to the Royal Highland Centre. Click here for a Lothian Buses timetable or call 0131 555 6363 for further information.
