Founded in 1971 Greenpeace’s goal is to
ensure the ability of the Earth to nurture life in all its diversity. Greenpeace
defends the natural world and promotes peace by investigating, exposing and
confronting environmental abuse and championing solutions. The organisation
is passionate about supporting the Earth- the only planet we have. Greenpeace focus on worldwide issues such as
climate change, deforestation, overfishing and commercial whaling. Greenpeace
are independent and do not accept funding from governments, corporations
or political parties, instead relying on
2.9 million supporters to add their voices to the campaigns.
